"THE REBEAT FUNK 5 YEARS ANNIVERSARY WEEKENDER"

Beide Termine werden im Ruefetto (Granatgaessle 3)/ Freiburg ausgetragen.

Tickets zu jeweils 5 Euro. Combi-Ticket fuer beide Tage fuer 7 Euro (nur an der Abendkasse erhaeltlich).

Wenn eine Musikrichtung den Begriff "Timeless" verdient hat, dann ist es der
rohe Funk zwischen 1967-1974. Die ganze sog. "schwarze Musik" die wir heutzutage
hoeren basiert auf die Funk-Era der spaeten sechziger.
Die Rebeat Funk Night verbreitet seit nun 5 Jahre hoechstqualitative und zugleich
vergessene Vinylperlen dieses Genre. Die weltweit debdeutendsten Djs wie Jazzman Gerald,
Tobias Kirmayer, Ben Downing oder Andy Williams und Bands wie Sharon Jones & the Dap Kings
waren schon zu Gast bei der Rebeat.
Fuer die Jubilaeumsfeier gibt es ein NOVUM im Ruefetto: ein WEEKENDER.
Ja, nicht einmal sondern gleich zweimal hintereinander gibt es die Rebeat mit Variationen
im Programm und Line up.

Am FREITAG 30. Januar geht es los um 21 Uhr (!!) mit einen Blaxploitation Film (in Originalton versteht sich).
Das ist eine Option fuer die Fans dieser speziellen Filmsparte.
Ab 22 Uhr wird dann aufgelegt. Einer der besten Deep Funk Dj's wird uns wieder mal besuchen: TOBIAS KIRMAYER (Tramp Records / München) !!!
Musiker haben die Rebeat von Anfang an stark gepraegt und werden bei diesen
Anlass natuerlich nicht fehlen: "Thelonious Fonk" wird zusammen mit Tobias drums auf unbekannte deep funk tracks spielen die leider schlecht gemixt worden sind und fast keine drum sound besitzen. stillgerechtes Live-Funk und stillechtes Instrumentarium also!

Am SAMSTAG 31ten werden einige Gaeste erwartet.
Dj Peter Hagen (1beat.de) sowie Dj Kefian (Eardrum) - zwei lokale groessen - werden Ihre wertvollsten Platten mitbringen um die Rebeat zu gratulieren.
Zum ersten Mal wird es auch Cd's zu kaufen geben sowie RebeatFunk-T-Shirts.
Deep Funk und Raw Soul im allerhoechsten Niveau, so wie der Rebeat Fan es erwartet und verdient hat.
