In dieser Sendung stellen wir feinstes Material vor, dass sich stark an klassischem Soul und Funk aus den 60er Jahren orientieren. Wir sind bekennende Fans der Renaissance jenes analog warmen Sounds der mit Marvin Gaye, Curtis Mayfield oder James Brown Jahrhunderkünstler heraus brachte. In diesem Mix geht es um nichts als Soul. Ob von Nicole Willis aus Finnland, den New Yorkern Movementkönigen aus dem Daptone-Umfeld oder den Bamboos aus Australien. Dazu gibts noch ein Prise Afrobeat aus Kanada und dem Big Apple. Feel it.

"Es Entstehen Wesen" with Fleur Earth on the mic and Twit One on the beat. The follow up to the band album "Soul des Cabots" is a marriage of Fleur's abstract soul lyrics and Twit's playful dusty grooves and sounds like nothing else. Featured friends are C:Mone, rhodes player Daan, Hulk Hodn, Retrogott and Frank Nitt.

"Fleur Earth könnte zur deutschen Erykah Badu werden" prophezeite Spiegel Online, als Fleur im März 09 ihr Band Album "Soul des Cabots" (mit dem Experiment an Bass, Gitarre, Schlagzeug und Rhodes) veröffentlichte. Oder um es mit der Juice zu sagen: "Fleur Earth ist Charisma in Reinform."

Auf "Es Entstehen Wesen" spinnt Fleur ihren Straßenkötersoul zu den fabelhaften Beats von Twit One (der beim Fleur Earth Experiment den Bass bedient) weiter. Das Album repräsentiert einen Sound of CGN zwischen Soul und Hip-Hop, der die Enden absichtlich low und lose hält. Fleurs codierte Lyrik braucht keinen Silbermond, um zu scheinen und trifft dabei mitten ins Herz. Twit One füttert die MPC mit 60ties Soul, Jazz, Brasil und den Geto Boys. Unterstützt werden sie dabei von ihrem erweiterten Freundeskreis um C:Mone, Rhodesspieler Daan, Hulk Hodn, Retrogott und Frank Nitt.

Spotlight auf Twit One: produzierte das erste Fleur Earth Mini-Albu "Skurreal", eröffnete zusammen mit Hulk Hodn als Testiculo Y Uno die MPM Producer-Reihe "Hi-Hat Club" und ist der Kopf des Produzententeams The Ins, die eine 3 Track EP mit Miles Bonny in der Pipeline haben.

nach unserer �Sommerpause geht die live/club Reihe von Jan Hagenkoetter und Michael R�tten - im Sinkkasten weiter.� F�r den Herbst sind insgesamt drei Konzerte in Vorbereitung.

Den Anfang machen �THE DYNAMICS, mit diesen pr�sentieren �Jan Hagenk�tter (jazznotjazz / INFRACom!) und Michael R�tten (soulsearching/Compost Records)�am 17.09.2009 im Sinkkasten in Frankfurt �eine der Schl�sselfiguren der neuen Soul Reggae Szene.�Dabei spielt die multinationale Zusammensetzung aus S�ngerin, S�nger, MC und Dubmaster sowie Bruno Horvart an den Controls selbst eine entscheidende Rolle. Die Chemie zwischen dem franz�sischen Soul-S�nger No.1, Mr. Day aka Dapper Roy, der aus Kamerun stammenden Mounam aka Sandra Madengue, MC, S�nger und Songwriter Steve Levi aus Bristol, Flab Master Flab aus Boston und schliesslich Patchworks als Mastermind stimmt einfach und so f�gen sich die verschiedenen Skills aus Soul, Gospel, Dub, Einfl�sse von Marvin Gaye, Curtis Mayfield, Horace Andy, Smokey Robinson und auch Bob Marley zu einem eigenst�ndigen Sound.�Scheuklappendenken scheint der franz�sischen Crew bei der Auswahl der Songs vollkommen fremd: Munter bedient man sich bei Pop, Rock, Soul,�Disco, Roots und Reggae.

Der Süden rockt weiter. DJ Tekxbe, seines Zeichens Plattenleger und Mixtapehero aus Waldkirch, hat sich entschieden eine weitere Folge seiner beliebten Mixreihe „My Rap goes bigger“ anzufertigen. Da Konzept dahinter birgt die Idee regionalen HipHop-Künstlern eine Plattform zu geben, damit man sich vereint präsentieren kann. Ergänzt durch Internet-Connections und Freundschaften nach Hamburg, Bremen und Strassburg versammelt sich hier die geballte Rapkraft aus dem Raum zwischen Offenburg und Basel. Etablierte Wortakrobaten wie Claudio & P-Vers von Streethop Label oder die Soundsurvivors aus Bühl haben ebenso ihren Beitrag geleistet wie Freiburger Freestyler und Nachwuchsaktivisten. Darunter Punch Verband, Jakobietz oder Platon Extra O aus dem breisgauer Studentenstädtchen. Insgesamt hört man hier auf 27 Tracks viel Talent und Liebe zur HipHop-Kultur bei den Beiträgen und das Tape zeigt, dass im Süden einiges geht. Die musikalischen Grundlagen kommen meist von den Künstlern selbst und haben einen erfrischenden Mix zwischen modernen, elektronischen Beats und old schooligen Ansätzen. Spiel, Satz und Sieg. Nachdem letztes Jahr der Rundlauf#1 allen Anwesenden eine Menge Spaß bereitet hat geht es am Samstag, den 05. September 2009 in die zweite Halbzeit. Das bedeutet regen Betrieb hinter den Plattenspielern. 15 Djs aus dem smile Freundeskreis spielen sich die Bälle zu. Das verspricht ein hohes Maß an musikalischer Vielfalt, ohne dabei jedoch den roten Faden zu verlieren, dafür kennen sich die Protagonisten schon zu lange...Austragungsort ist wie immer der Erdbeermund. In diesem Sinne :-)
