Die kleine Stadt am Rhein veranstaltet auch dieses Jahre wieder das "Contre Temps" Festival statt. Wieder gibt es Live-Musik, Djs, Streetart und vieles mehr.Vom 03.06.2010 bis zum 13.06.10 gibt es vieles in den unterschiedlichsten Lokalitäten zu sehen und zu hören.

Dj Checkmate und Dj Tekx Be präsentieren ab 22.05 "Don´t belive the hype!" Eine neue Partyreihe im KGB Club Freiburg. Drehen wird sich hierbei alles wie gewohnt um Funk & Rap.

DJ Tekx Be, der bereits mit "I LOVE FUNK & RAP" seine Note im Freiburger Nachtleben hinterlassen hat und DJ Checkmate, der sich durch seinen beliebten "FUNKAFIED" einen guten Namen gemacht hat, starten mit "Don't believe the hype" einen Clubabend, an dem ausdrücklich getanzt und nicht nur mit dem Kopf genickt werden soll. Dabei wollen sie als Basis den guten Funk auf die Tanzfläche blasen, jedoch alle modernen Formen von Hip Hop, freshen Beats und Turntablizm hinzufügen. Es geht also um Hip Hop und alles was dazu gehört. Regelmäßigen werden auch MCs aus der Region als Supportact zu Gast sein und in alter Blockpartymanier das Mic hosten. Many of you might remember legendary nights at the now terribly renovated Cafe Moskau and of course at the great WMF Club with artists such as Gilles Peterson, King Britt, DJ Spinna, Louie Vega, Kenny Dope, etc.

So the Jazzanova Djs: Alex Barck, Juergen von Knoblauch, Claas Brieler will again be inviting both dj and live bands. Dj bookings in the pipe-line include Gilles Peterson, Rainer Trüby, etc.

Well here it is… has it really been a year? You now, When I first got in to music I did it purely for the fun and excitement of it. As the seasons came an went my hobby transformed into a full on career. The “Odd Seasons” series was a way for me to be creative for no reason other that creativity. That’s why they’ve been free releases. In order to remind my self why I do music, I have to allow some of my works to be created and released for well…. I hate to say it but…. “The Love” Now That the “Odd Seasons” are complete I’ll be pressing them on vinyl in a lovely box set that will contain all four seasons. So yes, the time will come when you’ll be able to support and purchase. Enough with this! ODD SPRING!!!

Ab 17 Uhr bei Grillwurst, Longdrinks & Kölsch und nach Einbruch der Dunkelheit in den Katakomben des Forts im Friedenspark. Das erste BEAT BBQ fand im August 09 in der Orangerie im Volksgarten mit rund 400 Beatfreunden statt.
