We Are… präsentiert erstmalig in Berlin: Franklin ist das neue Projekt von Frank Rabeyrolles, der auch der Kopf hinter dem französischen Minimal-Pop / Elektronika-Projekt Double U ist. Nach 4 Alben auf diversen Labels wie Jazzanovas Sonar Kollektiv, Karat und Nocturne macht er nun einen Schnitt und geht als Franklin den entscheidenden Schritt weiter. Poppiger und dennoch tiefer ist er geworden. Zu hören ist seine Liebe für Einflüsse aus Psychedelik, den verrückten 60ern und Oldschool Elektro. Franklin ist ein Pop-Mutant, eine besondere Kombination von Vintage Analog-Synthesizern und Drum-Computern, Guitar-Echos ohne gefakte Nostalgie-Momente und süßer Gesang gemit mit einem modernen Popappeal. Ein Muss für Fans von The Notwist, Broadcast oder Beach House. Heute gibt es sowohl ein paar Klassiker als auch eine Aussicht auf sein in Kürze erscheinendes neues Album!
